SCRAMBLES
Random-state, like the officials
2×2 and 3×3 are drawn uniformly from every solvable state, the way the official scrambler does it — not a shuffle of moves. The rest are random-move, and Square-1, Megaminx and Clock are verified to be physically performable.
INSPECTION
15 seconds, +2 and DNF
The WCA inspection clock, with a +2 from 15 to 17 seconds and a DNF after — plus the audible cue at 8 and 12. Off for blindfolded, where inspection is the solve.
SCORING
Each event judged its own way
Average of 5 where the WCA uses it, Mean of 3 for 6×6 and 7×7, and Best of 3 for blindfolded. The headline number matches the one on the results page.
PRECISION
Timed to the hundredth
Recorded and shown to 0.01 seconds, the way every official result is quoted — no invented thousandths, no rounding that flatters a solve.
